Our mission is to contribute to the promotion of justice and the rule of law in the Republic of South Africa and the advancement of socio-economic rights through the practice of law in different practice areas including, but not limited to, corporate commercial law, constitutional law, civil and criminal litigation, tax law, constitutional and administrative law and others both in South Africa and beyond.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER (MR NTSHEMBO NOEL MANGANYI)
Mr. Manganyi, an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa, holds an LLB degree from the University of Limpopo, Turfloop Campus, formerly know as the University of the North, a Higher Diploma in Tax Law from University of Johannesburg and a Postgraduate Diploma in International Tax Law from University of Johannesburg. He is currently enrolled for his Masters’ Degree in Tax Law through Unisa.
Mr Manganyi served his articles (now practical vocational training) in 2001 through the Legal Aid Board of South Africa in Witbank, Mpumalanga. He was admitted as an attorney in June 2002. He has over 15 years of uninterrupted post admission experience practicing as an attorney.
Between 2002 and 2003, he served as a Professional Assistant at Rammutla-At-Law Incorporated in Pretoria. It was in this firm that he gained valuable experience in, amongst others the following practice areas of law: legal research, contracts drafting, commercial and general civil litigation, collections and personal injury claims. Between 2003 and 2005, Mr. Manganyi worked for Legal Aid Board in Witbank as a Professional Assistant.
From 2005 to 2008, Mr. Manganyi worked at the office of the State Attorney in Pretoria at the contracts and commercial litigation section. It was during his term at the office of the State Attorney that he did a lot of commercial litigation matters, many of which would flow from bids, Service Level Agreements, and Memorandum of Understanding. This would take the form of trials, review applications and arbitrations. In addition to that, he also did a lot of other contractual related matters as well as a fair amount of labor matters.
In 2008, he founded the firm NTSHEMBO MANGANYI ATTORNEYS. The firm changed the name to NTSHEMBO MANGANYI INCORPORATED in 2009 and it continues to exist and practice under the same name and style.
PROFESIONAL ASSISTANTS/CANDIDATE ATTORNEYS
One of the objectives of NMI is to contribute to a quality training of candidate Attorneys, especially those from previously disadvantaged communities. To realize this, our firm always makes provision for Candidate Attorneys, Professional assistants, Associates and Correspondents.
The firm employs Professional Assistants who are passionate about the practice of law and positive result driven in their service offering to clients, as well Candidate Attorneys from time to time.
CONSULTANTS
The firm has an inhouse legal costs consultant who has extraordinarily increased efficiency of the firm in respect of bill of costs. Our legal costs department also services other attorneys practice in need of drawing and opposing bill of costs as well as related services.
The firm also uses services of consultants from time to time as and when a need arises in various areas of its fields of practice. When used, the consultants are accountable to the firm and operate in line with the values, policies, objectives, ethics and ethos of NMI.
ASSOCIATES
In deciding on the utilization of services of associates, we are primarily guided by the interest of our clients, the production requirements, nature of the work required, localities and places of the associates. The driving factor in the selection of our associates is, amongst others, work ethic and ability to grasp client’s needs and execute on them.
EMPLOYEES
The company is headed by the director, Mr. Manganyi, who is ably assisted by eight supporting staff members.
EQUITY, BLACK EMPOWERMENT AND TRANSFER OF SKILLS
In response to the past historical imbalances, we always take into account, inter alia, employment equity, black empowerment, transfer of skills and youth empowerment.
CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
The firm has adopted a school known as Hanyani Thomo, a High School in a remote rural village on the outskirts of Giyani, in Limpopo Province. The firm annually arranges and sponsors motivational sessions at the school, for both the teachers and the pupils. Occasionally, the company also helps deserving students with registration fees at tertiary institutions, their transportation and accommodation.
Further to the above, we have recently expanded our teachers’ motivational sessions to cover the entire Klein Letaba Circuit (the circuit), at Giyani, Limpopo Province, consisting of about or over five hundred educators. These educators are annually brought under one roof for motivational sessions.
